The Taylor County Road Department maintains County roads and bridges that are dedicated to public use. Road Department duties include:
- Maintaining County Roads
- Mowing County Right of Way
- Maintaining & Repairing County Bridges
- Removing Trees, Limbs & Debris from County Roads
- Responding to Flooding due to Excessive Amounts of Rain
- Installing, Replacing, and Repairing all County Signs
- Issuing Logging Permits
- Inspecting New and Existing Driveways
- Cleaning out Ditches, Driveways & Culverts
- Repairing and Cleaning Roadways and Right of Way due to Storms
The Road Department Garage services and maintains all county vehicles and equipment.
